Property/Casualty Senior Marketing Account Manager for LaMair-Mulock-Condon Insurance Agency in West Des Moines, Iowa.  I handle the marketing of renewal and new business prospects.  I have been with LMC for over 5 years. Previously employed with another Agency here in the West Des Moines.  I have had past employment experience on the Agency and Company side, all in the property/casualty area.  I have earned several industry designations and am currently working toward the CRM (Certified Risk Management). 
 
I have been a member of NAIW since 1995.  The last 10 years with IAGDM in Des Moines.  I have held many committee positions, and was Vice President/Program Chair during the 2006-07 term.  I have held my CPIW designation since November 1999, and received my DAE in 2007.  I have participated in many of the NAIW sponsored programs including CWC and the Mentors & Protégés.  I have also presented with other members several programs including the Commercial Umbrella program and the 5 Steps of Risk management program.
 
I am married and live in Norwalk with my husband Steve.  I am also involved in a local quilt guild, the Iowa Air National Guard Family Support system, and am a Independent Consultant for Longaberger (baskets/pottery/wrought iron).

Des has been employed by Reynolds and Reynolds, Inc since 2005 as a Commercial Account Manager.  She also has experience with La Mair – Mulock – Condon Co.  and  Pharmacists Mutual Insurance Company.  She has worked in the insurance industry since 1986.  Des is also pursuing the CRM and CPCU designations.

I have worked in the insurance industry since 1995, starting as a Billing Clerk for American Life and Casualty.  When the company moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, I was hired by Allied Insurance as a Customer Service agent for their personal lines of business.   When Allied became part of Nationwide Insurance in 1999, I moved to Nationwide Agribusiness as an underwriting technician.  Since then, I have held the Customer Service Supervisor position, and currently I am working in the Compliance Department as a Project Analyst.

I enjoy IAGDM and have met many new people, thanks to our recent President Eileen Bleskacek.  Thanks Eileen for not letting me say no!
